Vitamins are dived in two groups. Fat- soluble vitamin and
water- soluble vitamin. Each are classified by the components or materials
which they dissolve. Fat –soluble vitamins are vitamin A, D, E, and K which are
stored in the body. After these vitamins are digested they dissolve in fat
before they are absorbed in the bloodstream, then the body use what they need
and the rest are stored for a future use. In contrast the body does not store
water- soluble vitamins. These vitamins are ingested and dissolve in water,
then go to the blood stream. Due to this process the body needs to replace
these vitamins every day in order to maintain our body healthy. The excess
amounts of the water –soluble vitamins are eliminated in the urine. I am in my nutrition class which I love it. I really think that our body is an amazing thing, able to process and handling many difficult functions. I did share this information with you guys, because it is important the knowledge of how our body metabolize
